About the Opportunity
Council is seeking applicants for the position of Town Planner. This position is a part-time, fixed term appointment of 12 months. The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the strategic and statutory planning functions including assessment of development and subdivision applications, periodic review of Councils planning policies, as well as the development of master plans for urban release areas. Other details relating to this position are:
- The Grade applicable to the position is Grade 20 within Council's salary structure.
- This is a part-time position and the hours and days can be fully negotiated.
- The salary is between $40.17 to $46.25 per hour plus superannuation. Additional benefits may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
- Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2017
